Right from the cover it seems that this book is going to take a more humorous slant than readers anticipated. Larfleeze finally stars in his very own book. Took a Level in Kindness: It's really hard to tell, but after Larfleeze (maybe) learns his true origins as a traitor to his own people, he takes a few.

Took a Level in Badass: Larfleeze takes quite a few in his series, mostly by remembering how to fully utilize his powers. Spanner in the Works: Larfleeze to the House of Tuath Dan. And while this did indeed happen at the end of his series, it's made poignant by the fact that they weren't talking about Lafleeze's immediate family. Prophecy Twist: Carol Ferris, Adara the Hope Entity, and the epilogue to Geoff Johns' Green Lantern run claimed that Larfleeze's family was still alive and that he would reunite with them someday. This resemblance is noted by several characters in the book. Pig Man: Larfleeze looks like a cross between that and a dog. No Guy Wants to Be Chased: Larfleeze finds the advances of Ardora and Sena the Wanderer to be wholly unwelcome. Forgot I Could Fly: A good deal of his ongoing consists of him relearning just how powerful he is after years of lazily relying on his Orange Lantern Corps to do his work for him. While still his egotistical self, he shows G'nort almost unbelievably genuine affection and generosity. distantly related by 14 generations thanks to the incredibly long lifespan of Larfleeze's species, but still enough of a connection to bring Larfleeze to tears. Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Larfleeze discovers that the Green Lantern G'nort is his cousin. To add insult to injury, he lets the vengeful Sena the Wanderer, the sibling they endlessly bullied and held in contempt, decide where they should be banished. Since he considers EVERYTHING to be his property, he has basically consigned these beings obsessed with domination and ownership to an eternity of powerless, impoverished exile. Cruel Mercy: Larfleeze spares the gods of the House of Tuath-Dan on the condition that they do not meddle with what is his. Though it was a choice of him winning or the House of Tuath-Dan, who are arguably worse than he is. The Bad Guy Wins: At the end of his ongoing, he pretty much gets everything he ever wanted: power, wealth, and family. #LARFLEEZE 1 SERIES#
